This week is back to school week on the Crate Paper blog! Today, I am sharing a back to school layout featuring the new Wonder collection. Let's take a look!
Hi everyone! I had so much fun using the new Wonder collection to create this back to school themed layout for my daughter. The collection really has so many great sayings that apply to back to school, you can see I have used the "be brave" and "let your light shine" stickers. I stuck with a grid design for this layout, leaving some white space for embellishments.
For the title, I used the multi-patterned chipboard Thickers that come with this collection - aren't they fabulous? They are nice and big too. I adhered them to patterned vellum and stitched through after adding to the layout. Originally, this was going to be a pocket page but I found I liked it better as an actual layout.
The cork numbers in this collection were perfect to add an accent to the page to show that my daughter is going to be in first grade. I also used a chipboard frame and star next to the title to add some dimension and color.
The 'be brave' chipboard sticker was perfect for a back to school page. Even though my daughter loves school, she still gets a little nervous for the first day. I also embellished with some chipboard hearts and an ampersand from the ephemera pack.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I had a lot of fun making this layout. Have you used the new Wonder collection yet? We would love to see!
