Thanksgiving Placecard with American Crafts

Use the new DIY 3 Collection to create one-of-a-kind place cards and gift bags for your Thanksgiving table! This week on the American Crafts blog, the DT is sharing ideas to incorporate your papercrafting supplies into your table decor.

How to: Use a die cutting machine or punch to create colored cardstock leaves. Adhere 3 to a piece of kraft paper from the DIY 3 collection. Stitch a piece of vellum at the top and trim with pinking shears at the bottom. Add a tag to the place card, and use gold Thickers to spell a name. Adhere a strip of woodgrain washi and stitch; stitch the top of the place card as well. Add gold enamel dots to embellish. Decorate the table with additional paper leaves. Use a giant clothespin to clip the place card to a muslin bag filled with treats!
