{citrus twist blog hop!}

Hey guys! Welcome to the Citrus Twist Christmas blog hop! Today I'm going to be sharing a couple of Christmas photo ideas with you. If you get lost along the way, here is the complete list of blogs:

Jennifer you are here!
Citrus Twist

Christmas is definitely one of my favorite times of year to photograph.

The other day my daughter (4) and I made some sugar cookies. I was not feeling too domestic at the moment so we used some storebought dough. I basically let her do everything so we ended up with some really sprinkled cookies and I wanted to capture that close up.

I love taking detail shots of ornaments on the tree. This is my son's keepsake ornament this year.

I wanted to get some closeups of my son (16 mos) with the Christmas lights. I did this early in the morning when there wasn't much actual light so I could get that nice glow. I snapped away and used RadLab to convert to black and white.

Be sure to grab those pictures of your kiddos all dressed up by the tree!

I also snapped a few photos of my daughter quickly one weekend as she was going out to play in the snow. As you can see she wasn't looking at me because she was so excited to go play!

Thanks so much for hopping with us today. Please follow along with the hop and when you are done commenting, head back to the Citrus Twist blog and leave a comment there for a chance to win a Christmas Daily kit!

Now that is one awesome prize!

{elle's studio december kit}

Hey guys! Tonight I'm sharing a post with my projects for December's kit from Elle's Studio. I loved this kit!! It was perfect for a Christmas layout and some December Daily pages.

I used some of the Noel vellum over dark cardstock for my background. I used pieces from the kit as well as the awesome cut files this month!

The cut files also come in PNG format so you can use them on your photos too.

 I used the stars as cut files and cut out some white cardstock.

Next I decided to do some foundation pages for my December Daily. I did days 14 and 15 which are coming up rather quickly! Time is flying.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to grab your kit before they are gone :)

{elle's studio - joy layout}

Today on the Elle's Studio blog I'm sharing a layout with the Noel collection. I ran a piece of 12x12 vellum through my cameo and cut the snowflakes, then added it to a piece of green patterned paper from the collection.

I also used some of the beautiful new wood veneer.

And some gold glitter cardstock for my title.

Thanks for looking!
